Refund policy

Our Agreement
By completing a purchase with Rustin’ Ranch Clothing Co. (‘we’, ‘us’, or ‘our’), whether in-store or online, you acknowledge and agree to the following Return and Exchange Policy. All returns are subject to the discretion of our store management.

1. In-Store Returns

  • Timeframe: Exchanges must be made within 30 days of purchase.
  • Proof of Purchase: A valid receipt or tax invoice is required for all returns.
  • Condition: Items must be in "As New" condition—unworn, undamaged, and unwashed with all original tags attached.
  • Change of Mind: We do not offer refunds for change of mind. If you are not satisfied, we offer an Exchange or Store Credit/Gift Card if a suitable exchange is unavailable.
  • Exclusions: No refunds or exchanges are permitted on Clearance Items or Special Orders.
  • Footwear: Boot boxes must be returned in original, undamaged condition.


2. Online Returns

  • Timeframe: Returns must be initiated within 30 days of your order receipt confirmation.
  • Pre-Approval: Please contact us via phone (0411 45 70 80) or email (admin@rustinranch.com.au) before posting any items back to us.
  • Return Shipping Costs:
  • Customer Expense: Returns for change of mind or incorrect size/colour selection are at the customer’s expense.
  • Our Expense: We cover Standard Postage only if the product is faulty or the incorrect item was sent. (Costs for Express or Courier services will not be fully reimbursed).
  • Condition for Resale: Items must be returned "As New" with all packaging and tags. If an item shows signs of wear or marking, it may be rejected, and the customer will be responsible for return postage.
  • Lost Items: Rustin’ Ranch Clothing Co. does not take responsibility for items lost in transit. We highly recommend using a tracked service.


3. The "Boot & Hat Box" Rule
When returning boots, hats, or any boxed product, the original branded box is considered part of the item. It must be protected.

  • How to pack: Please wrap the box in brown paper or place it inside a mailing satchel.
  • Do Not: Stick postage labels, write on, or apply packaging tape directly to the original product box.
  • Penalty: Non-compliance with these packaging rules will incur a $10.00 fee for replacement packaging, and return postage will be the responsibility of the customer.


4. Faulty Products
If a product is faulty, wrongly described, or differs significantly from the sample shown, we apologize and will provide a refund or exchange in line with Australian Consumer Law.

  • Assessment: Items must be returned for assessment. In some cases, the manufacturer may need to review the item to determine warranty eligibility.
  • Wear & Tear: Standard manufacturer warranties do not cover regular wear and tear.
  • Reimbursement: If an item is deemed faulty by management or the manufacturer, all product costs and standard return postage will be reimbursed.


5. Non-Returnable Items
For hygiene and clearance reasons, we cannot accept exchanges or returns on:

  • Clearance/Sale Items (unless faulty).
  • Special Orders.
  • Earrings, Underwear, Swimwear, and Socks.
  • Gift Cards or Vouchers.


6. How to Complete Your Online Return

Please include in your package:

  1. A copy of your Invoice or Receipt.
  2. Your Name and Contact Details.
  3. A brief note explaining the Reason for Return (e.g., "Exchange for Size 12" or "Faulty - see stitching").
